Business Resource Groups was started to help mitigate the skills gap between the individual and those skills desired by corporations. In many instances, it seemed that individuals were completely thrown in the water with little onboarding, development, and/or future career planning to succeed in the business world. As 2008 approached and the financial crisis hit, individuals developmental needs seemed to grow, but those desires for self-development seem to fall even futher behind the hierachy of needs within companies. With the emerging changes in the workforce, Business Resource Groups decided that it was time to make a change to help driven individuals bridge the gap to develop themselves in a structured manner to help them acheive the next level of sucess.
